But here it is, like a rivet in the present. Undeterred by the blue skies and the summer sun, untouched by time’s diligent passing.  Almost love. This force. This object. It’s all I can do to remain, intact. Holding what space I can, as distinct. Holding grief, gently, on this day, balanced between two sides of a dream.

Artist notes

Much of my focus is on finding a visual language for those moments and emotional experiences where language deserts us. Those moments when we are between absence and presence, or when we are present in spite of circumstances that might render us otherwise, such as grief and loss. Those tenuous moments best described by music or art - by languages beyond the word.
